Bicycle

We provide you with bicycles. There are beautiful ways throughout the countryside of Alsace, in the Vosges or in the historical city center of Strasbourg. Indeed, vauban built a splendid bike path alongside the canal towpath. It was in order to transport the Vosges sandstone for Strasbourg fortifications. The trail is 300m from the house and takes you to the center of Strasbourg in only 20 minutes . or less if you have a good pedal stroke! On your way, you will meet swans, ducks, moorhens and coypu, depending on the season.

Old Cars

The latest madness of Paul: a superb Citroen Traction 11 B dating from 1953 and a Juva4 Renault dating from 1956. And if you are lucky, Paul will drive you around.

Horse stall

Our lovely stable welcomes as well our friends horses. Many paths are available around Oberschaeffolsheim. The village is famous for its equestrian center.

Breakfast

Daily breakfasts will be provided either in the Alsatian living room or in the garden, depending on the weather. It is composed of the famous kougelhopf, pastries, bread and homemade jams. In France we do not consider breakfast to be the most important meal of the day. We want you to “save some room” and have a lot of delight in testing our marvelous typical Alsatian restaurants and “Winstubs” around . However our Continental Breakfast consists of croissants, several kinds of bread, butter, jam, and marmalade, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, organic apple juice  and the famous pastry "kougelhopf" on weekends. But, if you wish to complete your breakfast with some eggs , ham or cheese, let us know before arriving. We will do our best to accommodate your needs for your entire satisfaction.

As far as the other daily meals are concerned, numerous charming restaurants with traditional atmosphere exist across the village. You will be able to eat in them and taste the local specialties of your choice among all those you must not miss! Again, it will be the opportunity to try our favorite friends' restaurants.
