For his 92nd birthday, Antonio returned to Alsace, in the house he was sheltered in during the war. He took with him his whole family and the mayor of Marene for a week full of emotions.
The day of his birthday we held a ceremony in honor of Antonio Bertola. The neighbors, the mayor and the inhabitants came to share many memories with our italian guest of honor.
