BEFORE BOOKING YOUR ACCOMMODATION PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Booking at the Petit Schelishans is subject to the following terms and conditions and those legally applicable in France and other applicable law with respect to such matters. By using this site, each user agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions. By booking, you accept that you have read, understood and accepted the following tems and conditions.

How to book?

Send your request using the schedule calendars and the online booking page.

To confirm the booking we require a deposit equivalent to one night rent, for 1-3 days stay and a deposit equivalent to 30% for long-term stays.

Important: we will confirm the booking upon reception of payment.

Check-in and check-out

Room are generally available from 4.00 pm on the day of arrival to 8.00 pm. Please note that both the Guests and the owner (or his representative) have to agree on the expected time of arrival, at least, one day before the arrival. Guest are required to vacate their rooms by 10.00 am on the day of departure.

Inventory and keys: guests and owners are to meet one day before the end of the stay to fix an inventory and hand back the keys.

ANY CHANGE OR CANCELLATION BY YOU

We will not refund deposits nor will we pay compensation.

For a 1-2 days stay:

Bookings must be cancelled by 72 hours prior to arrival (free of charge). After this deadline the total amount of the stay is due.

For more than a 3 days stay:

Bookings must be cancelled by 72 hours prior to arrival (free of charge). After this deadline the total amount of the stay is due.

In case of no-show: 100% of the total amount of the stay is due, including services previously purchased.

Please contact us if you need to cancel/change your travel plans or fo any other request.

ANY CHANGE OR CANCELLATION BY US

One month before the effective day of agreement, the tenant loses the deposit. We suggest you to suscribe to a cancellation insurance.

Less than one month before the effective day of agreement, the tenant will pay the difference between the amount of the deposit and the equivalent of the total rent amount, as a penalty clause.

In case of withdrawal, the owner or his/her representative is due to pay the double of the deposit amount within seven days after the cancellation.

In case of no-show (or if he/she does not call) within the 2 days after the designated day of arrival, the landlord reserves the right to rent the accomodation to an other client and can turn against him/her.

Breakages and damages

Guests are expected to take reasonable care of the facilities and accomodation they live in and are responsible and liable for any damage caused. If you have any problem (or request) on the day of arrival please report it to the staff by the end of the day, particularly if it is liable to cause health & safety problems. Usually, we do not charge minor accidental breakages, but we reserve the right to charge you if damage is significant, or caused by misuse or negligence, or not reported. Tenants and their family have to make sure to be on neighbourly terms with the inhabitants.

Each room is fully furnished and the kitchens are equipped with cooking ustensils crockery, cultery and glasswarec. If appropriate, on the day of departure, the owner or his/her representative shall be entitled to claim full compensation for damage caused (broken, cracked, chipped, damaged etc.). It includes, furniture and equipment showing abnormal wear and tear, soiled blankets and covers cleaning, curtains, wall-coverings, ceilings, rugs, mats, carpets, windows, beddings, etc.

The tenant promises to undertake to suscribe to an insurance (risks like fire, water damage, etc.). In the abscence of an insurance cover, please be aware that you will be made responsibleand pay damages resulting from an incident.

Most of accomodation insurances include a clause called "holiday" that covers this kind of risks. Consult your insurance company.

The landlord undertake to insure all accomodations against rental risks on behalf of the tenant on the condition that he reports every incident that might occurs by 24 hours.

On the day of arrival, we require a deposit of 350 euros payable by cheque or by card (cash deposit guarantee). It will be returned by 1 month after the tenant departure except in case of detainment.

The tenant cannot oppose to the visit of premises, when the owner or his representative will make the demand, or in case of force majeure;
